Is social media actually social or just media? At least lately, it started out as a nice platform thingies everywhere. Oh, it's social media. What does it mean? It's media where you can socialize around it. Post a photo and people talk and it's you share it with others. And it was nice in the start actually. It was very nice. And funnily enough, I didn't join it. I didn't like it those years because I'm kind of a private person. But then I joined up and tried X and I got an account and it got huge. massive account and then I am I felt no this is not the correct way because the people who followed me I think they followed me for the wrong reason I didn't want that so I cleaned out all followers deleted them recreated a new account which is this one exit by death and here I am but the social media has changed I don't thing is social anymore. Nobody even talks. I mean, half of the people talking. Are they actually people or it's just boats talking to each other? We don't know anymore. The this AI thing or language model, whatever they want to call it. It's pretty advanced. I mean, you can talk with it for hours and hours and you don't know is this a human or is this an AI. So, who knows if the statistics are really false because I feel this silencer all around, not just on X, not just on Instagram, everywhere. There is this silence going on on internet. And I wonder if social media is no longer social. I mean it wasn't that social to begin with but at least you could find a tiny group of people and then you guys or girls or mix of mix of both they hang out together talking arguing discussing things and these platforms their job their main job actually is to spread your word or everyone's words evenly so you get reach the whole thing is you get some reach otherwise is what's the point? Why should I add content to X platform on Instagram or Facebook or whichever when there is no reach? I just give them free content. That's not good. I might as well concentrate on my own website and build that up because believe it or not there are still people outside of social media where they visit websites actually.coms and ogs andnetss and all kinds of other domains. So, not everybody sits on X. I'm very disappointed on X, especially lately. And uh on Instagram, Facebook, even threads, they talk like, "Oh, threads is popular." It's so not I mean, it's dead over there. There's there's a feed coming in your timeline. People talking, but nobody actually talking. I can't see anybody talking and especially X has gotten really bad. They promote their own content. I mean their own employees. I I don't know what they are actually. These like strange accounts that are they don't even have a nice handle or anything. It's like some kind of random number. And they post all kinds of fancy photos and pictures. Where do they even get all this from? I mean, how do they find it? And a lot of this sometimes is copyrighted clearly, but they don't get banned and they get a massive reach. And often they pretend like, oh, I'm just a little woman or I'm just a little man somewhere and look how big my account is. But I don't believe any of that. Like there was this big account she followed me before. Well, uh, this exit by death account is actually a second exit by vest because I had the first one. I had a few followers, real followers, but I I got annoyed by them. So, I closed that account, recreated with the same handle. So, anyway, this woman follows me. She she had 120,000 followers and she followed 12,000, I think, if I remember correctly. Then she had 130,000 followers and she followed 13,000. And then she had 140,000 followers and she was following 14,000 followers. It doesn't even make s. Are you saying me? Are you telling me she followed 3,000 people, 4,000 people manually like this? Tick, tick, tick. Exactly. in proportion of the follow her follower accounts but slash like I don't know a few zeros by it. No, she's fake. I don't I don't believe it honestly. I don't believe at all that that's a real account or it's some kind of affiliate or employee or like I think these platforms not just ex everyone X Tik Tok Insta everyone they pick and choose some affiliates some some people but not official employees they go through I don't know how middle men middle something like that and they they make them big and they make them look like it's just one person, one little person making their account big and they give them reach and it's obvious reach. They reach everyone and everywhere. I mean, you open a new account, anybody, you know, they they're going to see these accounts that they trying to make big. And uh so this is not a social media anymore in my opinion. It's just media. It's just fake social or nonsocial media. You go in there, you think, "Oh, there are people here. I can find a group of likeminded to talk about and such." But nothing. As a matter of fact, you can't or at least I can't and I have seen many on Reddit for example talking about it. They can't even reach their own followers anymore. It It's just zero. you. I I posted a poll the other day. Nothing. I And it's not like I have like 200,000 followers right now. I got seven followers. Not even one responded to it because they don't see my account. So like what? Where is my reach? Why do I post on X if there is no reach? The promise of social media platforms are give me reach and I give you content. But I give them content, there is no reach. And okay, I I don't have some kind of fancy schmancy content or something, but I I got some content. I got podcast. I post stuff like religious things and even religious accounts. I seen a few that pop on they they suddenly from zero they become massive where there's this uh specific account the guy was at uh just a few hundred followers when I saw it just few months later suddenly he got 11,000 followers what and he clearly posts copyrighted material from ancient world ancient worlds and some stuff like that but I don't even know where he finds it because the photos you can't find them anywhere. So somebody is feeding this account. It's not just some little person alone sitting there and growing the account like that. There is no chance, no way is it possible that it is the case and u yeah and you can see interaction in these accounts. You can see people replying because they specifically give them reach and then you then other people see this account. They say oh look I can I can become big too. Maybe I can have an account analytic group. I mean I'm not talking big as in egoistics as in hey gather a few friends like mine that we we sit to each other and talk about subjects that we find interesting. No it's not like that anymore. I don't believe um because it's impossible. You can't go from just a few hundred to 11,000 followers in very short few weeks without any kind of advertising and without any kind of special kind of content. I mean unique. There's a lot of these ancient photos they posting. You positively vomit up and down, left and right. Every timeline you open, there's these things hitting you. Oh, all the world this heart area this and that. And this this is one such account. Their the curve on their followers are huge massive upright. It's clearly clearly it's fake. Tik Tok. Oh my god. I post podcast on Tik Tok and I post this thing. I click post. Just a few moments later, it has 100 views. 200 views. Are you kidding me? I don't even have one follower. Suddenly, there's 200 people watching my podcast. No way. And there's no interaction, no no likes, nothing. It's all fake. The fake statistics to get you to keep you in the game. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. You post it. You can you can find people. But my main goal is not even becoming some kind of big famous account or anything. I don't I don't care about that. I don't give a flying, you know what about it. I I just want to find likeminded people. As a matter of fact, forget like-minded. I just want to find people, human beings. And you know, there is a really shortage of human beings on social media. extremely shortage of human beings. I don't think there are a lot of humans around on social media platforms at least or even on earth. So yeah, be aware of this. I don't actually know why I post on X, but I I'm right now posting on all kinds of platform. Post on Spotify, everywhere, whatever I find. Uh, but I'm going to more and more concentrate on my own domain exit by.com because I think X is going down soon enough and Instagram and like the old other ones. I don't even remember their name. Tumblr, something crack MySpace. It wasn't MySpace. Facebook is just awful. Facebook is so depressing. I I don't even want to open it. I I just want to vomit as soon as I open it. Uh threads threads is awful to it's empty. It's a ghost town. Even though it's full of people, it's full of quote people unquote. Like you think it's people and they're talking, but there's no nothing going on. Who are these people? And many times I actually directly address somebody. I I reply to somebody and let me tell you I am not shadowbound. My account is completely clean, completely normal. I have tested it. My my replies show up. I have several other test accounts that I I test when I post something. I test if it's visible or not. So my posts are fully visible. You get the notification and everything. And I reply to some people asking something or anything. Zero reaction, nothing. No likes, no replies, no no blocks. One block recently, but like it's very rare. It's like you you reply to 100 and you maybe maybe get one reply. Maybe makes me wonder if these are actually even real. They're the ones talking. I I don't think they're real or everybody's just so messed up in mind and the whole thing is so messy. there's so much information overload right and left that it just uh they can't handle it anymore and people have gone some kind of hypnotized like they see a post they reply to it but they don't even come back to read their own reply or replies to their own reply they just move on to next move on to next how much short-term memory do you really have not a lot I mean how many how many posts will you remember in a 5 minutes that you're scrolling and people sitting there for hours and hours and scroll scroll doom scroll doom scroll they they read a lot I mean it's a lot of information some of it is crackpot some of is good some of it's fake but still it's a lot of information and you don't actually remember much of it and they especially on X they boast like hey we don't watch TV we are on the cutting edge of social media Oh yeah. Oh TV is much better. At least on TV you you you have the control in your hand and you choose like I want this channel, I want that channel. this X thing this any social media they are TV on steroids they are they just overload you with so much information and it's like zapping through another channel another channel another channel another channel every half a second I mean this doom scroll thing you you scroll and you see three post a seconds almost sometimes it just comes just keeps coming keeps going never end one post one post and the worst part of It's it's context switching your brain heavily. One post is funny, one post is news, one post is politics, one post is history, another is conspiracy, another this. Every two, three seconds, your brain is just exhausted. It just destroys the memory, the brain, the sanity. I wonder if even if there are real humans online over there in this social media, are they even sane anymore? Like it's just a mind destroyer. Which is funny because even Alon Musk, I remember he had a tweet a few years ago that context switching is a mind killer. Something like that. I said he knows it. They know it. I mean, many know it. But here we are. Everybody's sitting context switching every few seconds like just coming at you. So attention span was short before and now it's like basically zero attention span. Nothing. Nothing. Oh, I'm walking the street and there's a an emergency ambulance. That's sad. I hope whoever is in it is okay. Very sad to see. So yeah, I wonder if it's social media or just media now. I think it's just media. I I don't see it as social anything anymore. I'm still hopeful. I mean, I still post my podcasts, like my my writings a bit here, a bit there uh on Reddit, everywhere. I use Reddit X, Instagram, but yes. So far, nothing. I mean, I'm I'm my seven followers. They don't even see my post. I did. As a matter of fact, I actually replied to one of them directly recently. Nothing. Not even a reaction, even though I can see him replying to other posts, stuff like that. But no reply to me, nothing. And I'm not like rude or anything, just talking. And so, they don't actually talk. the their brain is fried is cooked that they're concentrated in some whatever it is that second and then the next second they move to another and another another at the end of the day how much brain or memory is left really how much how much energy your brain has how much sugar is going to burn just just nasty very very bad I I don't know what the solution is though I mean I still looking I'm still looking for people hopeful humans real human not I I don't believe there are a lot of people on earth actually but also I don't believe there are a lot on social media so it's like a double trouble thing so hopefully I can find at least a few bunch of humans agree or disagree with me but nevertheless as long as they're humans and uh by the way again I repeat I have ordered the new microphone. It's on the way. Hopefully, faithfully, it's got to be a better microphone and you won't get annoyed by me talking in this really bad microphone. Please bear with me. I'm sorry. And on that human note, I will tell you this. I am not human. I'm not from here. But I will get into this. Not yet, but soon enough. And I and if I manage to find few a few more followers at least.
